Early symptoms of pancreatic cancer

BY Berton Gladstone 2020-06-05

   1. Unexplained upper abdominal pain with radioactive pain in the left waist, the anterior curvature can be slightly relieved. Because the pancreas is anatomically located in the posterior peritoneum of the human body, there are more nerve fiber tissues around it. When the pancreas develops tumors, it will easily affect the surrounding nerves, so that the corresponding clinical symptoms appear earlier. For example, after eliminating gastrointestinal tumors and other lesions through gastrointestinal examination and colonoscopy, and when the effectiveness of various treatment methods is not obvious, further examination should be performed to rule out the possibility of pancreatic diseases.

   2. Repeated episodes of chronic pancreatitis. Abdominal pain caused by severe chronic pancreatitis recurs repeatedly, pancreatic atrophy becomes smaller and seriously affects digestive function, weight loss, weight loss, abdominal ultrasound or CT scan of the abdomen shows localized abnormal enlargement of the pancreas, and pancreatic cancer should be suspected Possible. If yellow skin and sclera appear at the same time, more attention should be paid.

   3. If there is unexplained yellowing of skin and sclera, you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. For example, when abdominal ultrasound examination reveals dilation of bile ducts inside and outside the liver, and when the doctor excludes bile duct stones, the possibility of pancreatic cancer should also be ruled out.

Because the pancreas is located deeper in the posterior peritoneum, and early pancreatic cancer is mostly located inside the pancreas, it can be asymptomatic when it has not affected the surrounding tissues. Early symptoms include: upper abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain with low back pain, jaundice, weight loss, decreased appetite, abdominal distension, etc.
