People in soft water areas have high levels of serum cholesterol, fast heart rate, and high blood pressure, and their mortality from coronary heart disease is also higher than in hard water areas. Therefore, from the perspective of preventing arteriosclerosis and coronary heart disease, people should drink hard water, such as deep well water and mineral water.
