Can I supplement vitamin A with pig liver

Male  32 years old 2018-07-02
I like to eat pork liver because my friends say that pig liver has a high vitamin A content, and I lack this element. Now that my eyesight is affected, can I really take vitamin A if I eat it regularly?

Pork liver is a kind of relatively high nutrition in animal viscera, pig liver is not the only dietary way to supplement vitamin A. There are many green, yellow and orange-yellow vegetables and fruits that are rich in carotenoids. Some of the carotenoids have vitamin A activity in the human body and can be converted into vitamin A. The highest vitamin A activity and the most content in food are β-carotene. For most residents in my country, β-carotene is the main dietary source of vitamin A.
