People with diabetes can eat an appropriate amount of fruit. Appropriate amount means that the total amount of fruit in a day does not exceed 200 grams, which can be divided into 2 additional meals, and according to the food exchange portion method, the staple food is reduced by 25 grams, thereby ensuring the calorie balance of the whole day diet. As a reminder, fruits with low glycemic index are preferred, such as apples, oranges, watermelons, etc.
