People with gout cannot eat more seafood. Seafood is usually high-purine food. Purine produces more uric acid after catabolism in the body. Therefore, eating a lot of seafood can cause acute attacks of gout, manifested as redness, heat, pain and general malaise in the joints. If you already have gout, kidney stones and other diseases, eating seafood can cause the onset or aggravation of old diseases.
