From experience, we usually say that mushrooms growing in the wild are likely to be poisonous. Musculin is one of the deadliest mushroom toxins, it can cause severe liver damage. The toadstools we call are also poisonous mushrooms. There are tens of thousands of mushrooms, and about a hundred of them are said to be poisonous, and less than ten can kill. Despite this, mushrooms can cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Because the essence of mushrooms is fungi and there are so many types, it is difficult to judge which is poisonous and which is not.
