Can I lose weight by drinking water?

I read some reports that drinking more water can help lose weight, is it true?

    There is currently no evidence that it can, but water is essential for the human body. Drinking more water is definitely beneficial. Drinking water can make your stomach swell, and you can get fullness by eating less food. Drinking plain water has a better weight loss effect than drinking sugary drinks.
