Eating pomegranates protects the skin. The glamorous red pomegranate has been proven to have a strong antioxidant effect. It contains an ingredient called ellagic acid, which can protect the cells from environmental pollution and UV rays, nourish the cells, and slow down the aging of the body. Studies have shown that ellagic acid is more powerful than polyphenols contained in red wine and green tea in terms of radiation protection.
