I am always constipated, especially after eating spicy food. Is it worse if I eat potatoes?

Potatoes can play the role of laxative, it can promote the peristalsis of the intestinal wall, help digestion, prevent dry stool. Can lubricate the intestines and stimulate bowel movements. Keep feces in the intestines moist to facilitate laxation.
