In order to lose weight, his wife hardly eats staple food. He just eats some boiled vegetables and fruits every day. Is it often not to eat staple food?

Often skipping staple foods, you might be able to lose weight, but often at the expense of health. Studies have shown that people who eat less on staple foods have higher levels of bad cholesterol, a greater risk of heart disease, and even reduced memory. The Chinese Nutrition Society recommends that people should maintain an appropriate daily intake of cereals. The average adult intake is 250 to 400 grams per day.
