Patients with heart failure need to properly limit protein intake to reduce the burden on the heart. When the symptoms of heart failure are obvious, it is recommended that the protein be 25-30g/d and gradually increase to 40-50g/d. After the condition is stable, the protein can be supplied at 0.8 g/(kg.d).
