When I make soup, I always like to put some shrimp skin, I feel that the taste will be much better. Recently, people have heard that shrimp skin can be supplemented with calcium. Does shrimp skin contain calcium?

Shrimp skin is rich in calcium, but calcium supplementation is not ideal. Be aware that high calcium content in shrimp skin means a high percentage, and the actual absolute amount is very small. The calcium in the shrimp skin is not easily broken down from the shrimp skin and is not easily absorbed.
