My husband eats apples and likes to eat it with the skin, saying that it can prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Isn't he cheating me to save trouble?

Apple peels contain many phenols and flavonoids. These active substances can inhibit angiotensin-converting enzymes that cause increased blood pressure, help prevent chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and coronary heart disease, and reduce their incidence.
