Patients with kidney stones should not eat spinach. Spinach contains more oxalic acid and its content is 606 mg/100 g. Oxalic acid not only inhibits the absorption of minerals such as calcium and iron in the intestine, but also increases the risk of kidney stones after entering the bloodstream.
