I have a bad spleen and stomach. I have been taking spleen-invigorating medicine. Today my wife made a little glutinous rice porridge. Can I eat it?

Patients with poor spleen and stomach should try to eat food that is not easy to digest. Foods such as glutinous rice, meat, and beans are not easy to digest. People who are taking Chinese medicines for strengthening the spleen and stomach are better to eat less, so as not to increase the gastrointestinal burden and affect the recovery of patients. Elderly people with reduced gastrointestinal function will often overwhelm their stomachs if they eat more of these foods.
