Does chewing gum often cause headaches

I like chewing gum when I'm okay, but I have a headache recently. Is it related to chewing gum?

Chewing gum frequently can cause headaches, and chewing gum can cause pain in the masseter muscle and jaw joints. Many patients end up with headaches, earaches, or toothaches due to chin and neck and neck muscle contractions. When you want to chew gum, you can eat an apple to satisfy the "chew".
