I heard that wine and seafood should not be eaten together, so can soda be eaten with seafood?

To put it simply, soda (mainly refers to the water containing "baking soda" or sodium bicarbonate) has a strong alkalinity, can change the pH of urine, and helps the kidneys excrete uric acid. Seafood usually contains more purine. Purine metabolism of uric acid in the body needs to be excreted through the kidneys, so drinking soda when eating seafood helps prevent the rise of uric acid in the blood.
