Will eating ginkgo be poisoned?

Male  41 years old 2018-06-26
My mother-in-law went to the market to buy some ginkgo and came back. I heard that eating ginkgo will be poisoned. Is that true?

Ginkgo contains toxins in hydrocyanic acid, which is very toxic, so raw food is very toxic. However, Ginkgo's toxicity decreases when exposed to heat. Even so, even if it is soup or medicine, the skin and embryo should be removed, because these two parts contain a higher proportion of toxins.
