    Eating winter jujube can add vitamins. Dongzao is named for its late maturity (mature in mid-October), also known as frozen jujube. Dongzao is rich in vitamin C and vitamin P, and contains more vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, and other trace elements. It is beneficial for improving capillaries, maintaining elasticity of blood vessel walls, and resisting atherosclerosis.
