The onset of inflammatory bowel disease. Inflammatory bowel disease is a group of chronic non-specific intestinal inflammatory diseases of unknown etiology, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. In the acute episode of inflammatory bowel disease, fasting and total parenteral nutrition should be given. After the clinical symptoms are relieved and the inflammatory response subsides, foods that are low in dietary fiber, low in sugar, and free of lactose should still be the main diet. Therefore, during the onset of inflammatory bowel disease, milk should be removed from the diet.
