I am pregnant. I heard from my friends that calcium supplementation is needed. Would you like to ask if milk is the first choice for pregnant women?

Milk is the first choice for calcium supplementation for pregnant women. Milk is the best food source of calcium. Not only is the calcium content high, but the absorption rate is also higher than other foods. The general liquid milk calcium content is roughly 100 mg/100 g (or 100 ml), or simply 1 mg/1 g. In other words, if you drink 250 grams (half a catty, 1 bag) of liquid milk, you can ingest 250 milligrams of calcium; if you drink 500 grams (one kilogram, 1 bag) of liquid milk, you can ingest 500 milligrams of calcium. The calcium content of ordinary yogurt is similar to that of liquid milk.
