Is high blood sugar related to eating carrot cakes?

Male  33 years old 2018-06-25
Yesterday's medical examination found that the blood sugar was too high. I wonder if this has anything to do with my favorite carrot cake on weekdays?

Eating carrot cake often increases blood sugar. Because some fat is added to the carrot cake, it slows down the digestion rate, and the blood sugar response is slightly lower than that of rice. However, the combination of starch and fat is not conducive to controlling blood lipids, and is not conducive to improving insulin sensitivity, so for sugar friends, carrot cake can only be tasted occasionally.
