The mother-in-law has high uric acid and suffers from gout. I stewed the soup. She said she could not drink it. Should people with gout drink less soup?

It is not enough to drink several bowls of soup for every meal. It is also taboo to drink soup. You can't drink any soup or drink too much. If a certain soup is high in calories, high in salt, and high in purines, you should not drink too much, especially those suffering from gout, kidney disease, and high blood pressure should avoid drinking these soups. The average person can slowly drink a small amount of soup when eating, based on the principle of stomach comfort.
