Patients with heart failure limit their water intake according to their condition. The recommended daily intake is 1000~1500ml, according to the season and the condition. If accompanied by edema, it is recommended to limit the amount of fluid to 1000ml/d. If sodium intake has decreased and excretion has increased, it is not necessary to strictly limit the liquid intake. It can be supplied from 1500 to 1700 ml/d to relieve thirst and make the patient comfortable.
