What is the standard for a low-salt diet?

My husband has high blood pressure, so I dare not let him eat more salt, but I don't know the standard of low salt. How much should I eat more salt every day?

Both high blood pressure patients and healthy people should eat a low-salt diet. The Chinese Nutrition Society recommends that adults should not consume more than 6 grams of salt per day, which is equivalent to a flat stainless steel spoon or a small beer cover. In addition to less salt in cooking and soup, eat less salty processed foods such as sauce meat, sausages, roast chicken. Not only that, but after eating snacks such as salted duck eggs and even biscuits, you need to reduce salt when dining.
