Is kelp a good calcium supplement?

Male  38 years old 2018-06-21
I often have a leg pain. I heard people say that kelp can supplement calcium, so I bought a lot of kelp to eat, but after a month, the effect is not great. Is kelp a good calcium supplement food?

Medically speaking, kelp does contain a lot of calcium, but it is limited to dried kelp. But who can eat large amounts of dried kelp? Once the water is absorbed, the calcium content is not much. Moreover, soluble dietary fibers such as alginate in kelp can hinder the absorption of calcium, because they can form a strong complex with calcium, and "pass through the intestine" with calcium.
