Female  3 years old 2018-06-20
The child is thinner. In order to make him better, I will give him honey every day, but then I found out that his teeth have turned yellow, and he is easy to break. Has he developed dental caries?

It is not good to eat too much honey for children. The main ingredient of honey is sugar, which contains 30% glucose, 38% fructose and a small part of sucrose. The relationship between caries and sugar is inseparable. Dental caries are caused by bacteria in the mouth, which adhere to and grow on the tooth surface to form plaque. Sugar is the favorite food of these bacteria. The acidic substances produced by bacteria metabolizing sugar are the most feared minerals that constitute teeth. When the acidity is high to a certain level, these minerals will start to be lost, and dental caries will occur. The more sugar you eat, the more severe your dental caries.
