Should raw and cooked food be cut separately?

I think it is troublesome to change the cutting board in exchange. Should we cut the raw and cooked food separately?

Ordinary family kitchens are generally not very large. In order to save trouble, many families use the same kitchen knife and the same cutting board for raw and cooked food. Bacterial cross-infection due to rawness and maturity is one of the main sources of foodborne diseases. Raw foods such as fish, meat, eggs, poultry, and vegetables often carry many bacteria and parasite eggs.
