    Dumplings are mostly made of glutinous rice, which is very sticky and can easily cause indigestion and the resulting symptoms of excessive stomach acid, diarrhea, bloating, and abdominal pain. Some even "stay" as soon as they eat. Since sweet dumplings contain more sugar, it is easy to increase the blood sugar content in the body, so pregnant women with gestational diabetes should not eat more dumplings.
