Is roxithromycin delivered with milk?

Male  30 years old 2018-06-18
I heard that when taking medicine, I can't drink milk, but today I took some roxithromycin for anti-inflammatory. The doctor also told me to take it with milk. Can I drink milk when taking roxithromycin?

Although most medicines cannot be taken with milk, roxithromycin can. This medicine needs to be absorbed into the bloodstream by the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration in order to reach the infection site with the blood circulation, so how much the medicine absorbs affects the effectiveness of the medicine. The study found that when taken with milk, roxithromycin entering the blood will increase by about 15% compared to fasting medicine, because the medicine can be dissolved in milk and is better absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract.
