In the hospital physical examination, cervical fibroids were found. The doctor recommended surgery, but at the same time it may cause damage to the ureter. Why does uterine surgery cause ureteral damage?

Uterine surgery does cause ureteral damage. Cervical fibroids, broad ligament fibroids, pelvic inflammation, endometriosis. Pelvic tuberculosis or two laparotomy, the bladder is displaced or the bladder and the cervix form scar adhesions, the bladder peritoneum is reversed and moved upward, or the peritoneum is adhered to the parietal peritoneum. When the peritoneum is cut or the bladder is pushed down, the separation line may be wrong. Causes bladder damage.
