After my father had a heart attack, the doctor would not eat more fatty foods such as pork. Can he eat fish?

People with heart disease can eat more fish, because fish can reduce the risk of heart disease. Fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, including DHA and EPA, which can increase the level of "good cholesterol" in the blood and reduce the content of "bad cholesterol." EPA is a common ingredient in cardiovascular medicine and has a cardioprotective effect.
