My mother recently bought a few pots of flowers to go home and said that the air in the house is not very good. Can the flowers purify the air?

Many flowers can absorb toxic substances in the air. For example, pomegranate absorbs lead, canna and jasmine absorb chlorine, Milan and lilac absorb carbon monoxide, pomegranate and chrysanthemum have the function of absorbing sulfur, hydrogen fluoride, mercury and other poisonous gases. The fragrance of jasmine can play a bactericidal effect.
