Studies have shown that green tea, black tea and white tea are helpful for sleep. A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that green tea, black tea, and white tea are rich in L-theanine, which can increase alpha brain wave activity, promote relaxation, and improve sleep quality. But do not drink strong tea before going to bed.
