Do cherries contain melatonin?

I heard that eating cherry often can treat insomnia, so I often buy it during this time. Is there melatonin in it?

Cherry is a kind of fruit with relatively high nutritional value. All types of cherries contain more or less some melatonin, but according to the currently published literature, the content of melatonin in tart cherries (Montmorency in France) is the highest in fruit.
