What is the root cause of traction alopecia?

Male  35 years old 2018-06-06
I usually like to wear pigtails and tighten them tightly. I have recently lost my hair and have a lot of dandruff. The doctor said that it is traction alopecia. What are the root causes of traction alopecia?

The root cause of traction alopecia is excessive pulling of the scalp. The first sign is inflammation of the hair follicles, thickening and scaling of the skin, and small pustules in some patients. Over time, you will find many lesions on your scalp. Your hair is no longer strong, long, thin and short, especially where you have braided braids or where you put pressure on your scalp.
