Yawning is not exactly a sign of burnout, not all yawning is tired. Involuntarily opening your mouth will cause a series of biochemical signals in your brain. When we yawn, substances such as dopamine, oxytocin, acetylcholine, serotonin, and hypothalamic hormone participate in this complex and difficult-to-understand neural process. Specifically, dopamine plays a key role. In fact, Parkinson's patients lack this substance in their brains. They hardly yawn. In some cases, they are not bored, tired, or full of stomach, but they can also make people yawn.
