It's been half a year since I had hypertension. I found coronary heart disease during the reexamination. What is the relationship between hypertension and coronary heart disease?

The relationship between these two diseases is very close, because hypertension is closely related to the formation and development of coronary atherosclerosis. Systolic blood pressure is more predictive of coronary heart disease events than diastolic blood pressure, and systolic blood pressure of 140 to 149 mmhg is more likely to increase the risk of coronary heart disease death than diastolic blood pressure of 90 to 94 mmhg.
