Women will experience breakthrough bleeding after taking birth control pills. If bleeding occurs during medication, it mostly occurs after medication is missed. A few people can have vaginal bleeding even if they do not miss the medicine. If it occurs in the first half of the menstrual cycle, it may be caused by insufficient estrogen. You can take ethinyl estradiol 0.005~0.015mg once a day until you have taken 22 tablets.
