    Pregnant women should take more water-soluble vitamins such as vitamin B1, vitamin B2, folic acid and vitamin C, and supplement vitamin E appropriately. These vitamins are mostly contained in whole grains, nuts, lean meat, dairy products, green vegetables, cauliflower, lemons, potatoes, cabbages, tomatoes and various seasonal fruits.
