My mother usually puts a lot of garlic when cooking, saying that garlic is good for heart health, right?

After eating garlic, low concentrations of hydrogen sulfide are produced. Low concentrations of hydrogen sulfide play an important role in helping cells communicate with each other. In blood vessels, hydrogen sulfide stimulates the formation of a "lining" that relaxes it, causing the blood vessels to dilate. This can lower blood pressure, allow the blood to deliver more oxygen to some basic organs, and release heart pressure.
