A new study from the University of Wisconsin found that cancer deaths in patients with severe sleep apnea were nearly five times higher than those who slept well. The reason is that sleep apnea will cause the blood oxygen level to drop, so that small tumors will grow new blood vessels, which will accelerate the process of tumor onset.
