The secretion of trichomonas vaginitis is purulent, grayish yellow, yellowish white or yellowish green, foamy and smelly. Leucorrhea has a foamy, rancid smell and is caused by anaerobic carbohydrates of trichomonas. The main treatment drug is metronidazole, which can be used systemically or locally. Males often become asymptomatic after infection and can easily become the source of infection, so sexual partners should be treated at the same time.
