My sister often beats and scolds children while educating children. There are reports that being beaten will affect the IQ of the child. Will the IQ of the child who is often beaten become lower?

The researchers used 4 years to conduct a sample survey of children aged 2 to 9 in the United States. It was found that children who were often beaten had lower IQ scores than children who were not beaten. In the age group of 2 to 4 years old, the average score of those who were often beaten was 5 points lower than the latter. In the 5- to 9-year-old age group, the average score of those who are often beaten is 2.8 points lower than the children who are not beaten. Therefore, the IQ of children who are often beaten becomes lower.
