What are the benefits of lactic acid bacteria and oligosaccharides

Male  36 years old 2018-05-24
During this time, I have been constipated for a long time. My friend asked me to eat lactic acid bacteria, but after a month, there was no effect at all. Then I heard others say that lactic acid bacteria should be paired with oligosaccharides. What is the benefit of this combination?

Taking lactic acid bacteria alone may have no effect on the body. The relationship between lactic acid bacteria and oligosaccharides: lactic acid bacteria decompose sugars in food and produce lactic acid. Among sugars, oligosaccharides are particularly preferred for lactic acid bacteria. Oligosaccharides are sugars formed by the polymerization of about 3-20 monosaccharides and contain many components that are difficult to be broken down by digestive enzymes. Because it is difficult to digest and reach the large intestine, part of it is used as a substrate for fermentation of lactic acid bacteria. Therefore, ingestion of lactic acid bacteria and oligosaccharides (used as artificial sweeteners) is more effective.
