I have symptoms of iron deficiency anemia and plan to improve it by dietary iron supplementation. Do I need to take some more vitamin C?

Vitamin C is very important when supplementing iron. Generally speaking, the absorption of non-heme iron needs sufficient vitamin C to help, so when eating sesame sauce, fungus, mushrooms or red dates, you need to eat more kiwi or citrus, Papaya, tomatoes and other foods rich in vitamin C.
