Why can't fall lentils be eaten?

I love lentils in particular, but my friends told me that lentils must not be eaten in the fall, so why not?

In autumn, lentils are out of season. Autumn lentils are high in lectin and hemolysin, which are toxic proteins. Hemagglutinin A, lectin A is a trypsin inhibitor. It is not easy to digest in the body, and can inhibit thrombin and prolong the clotting time.
