Children like to eat high-protein, high-energy foods. Will eating too much cause dental caries?

Eating more of these foods can cause it. A national survey of dental caries and periodontal diseases among primary and middle school students shows that the rate of dental caries among children aged 7 to 9 in the city is 79.6%. The reason for this is that children eat mostly high-protein, high-energy, sticky foods, and nutrients accumulate near the deciduous teeth, becoming a hotbed for dental caries.
