Eating glutamine is good for wound recovery after surgery. The main function of glutamine is to provide the necessary nitrogen source for the body to promote protein synthesis in muscle cells; through cell expansion, promote the growth and differentiation of muscle cells. Glutamine also has an important immunomodulatory effect, which is necessary for lymphocyte secretion, proliferation and maintenance of its function.
