I can skip meals, but a pack of cigarettes is necessary every day, but people have heard that smoking will lead to stroke. Is stroke related to smoking?

In stroke, a type of stroke called "subarachnoid hemorrhage" is most related to smoking. Men who smoke less than 20 cigarettes per day and 20 to 40 cigarettes are 3.2 times and 3.8 times more likely to have this type of stroke than non-smokers. Smoking women have 2.7 times the risk of developing this disease. The arachnoid is a layer of meninges wrapped on the surface of the brain like a spider web. There is a gap below it. Bleeding in this gap is called subarachnoid hemorrhage. The symptom is a severe headache, often accompanied by stiff neck.
